American-British actor and singer, Michael Malarkey, was born on June 21, 1983 in Beirut, Lebanon to an Irish American father and a British mother with Arab/Italian roots. Michael grew up with his family in Yellow Springs, Ohio. In 2006, he ventured off to London where studied at The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA). Michael Malarkey has built an impressive resume to date, however, he is best known for his portrayal of Enzo in the CW hit series, The Vampire Diaries. Michael's part in the series began in season five as a recurring role but was quickly upgraded to a series regular for season six, mostly due to the popularity of his character. In addition to acting, Michael has also proven himself to be quite the musician. He wrote and recorded a piece titled "The Bells Still Ring," and he is set to release an album this fall.
